Making Middle Grades Work
 
 
Understanding the unique developmental stages of students in grades 5-8, being able to motivate them, respecting their backgrounds, and being inquisitive about the subject matter one teaches are several of the characteristics that define effective middle school teachers. This webpage should be used as a resource to better challenge, teach and understand young adolescents.

Answer: The only time requirement for middle school students is 90 minutes of
physical activity per week.

Question: If teachers teach from the textbook are they assured that the students are being taught grade level curriculum?
